Let experienced tutor Colwin guide you through mastering this brilliant woodturning tool. This course focuses on demystifying the skew, addressing basic cuts, and showcasing common challenges like planning and bead rolling catches. Participants will create a skew practice piece, a mini skew pendant, and a third-size table leg, transitioning from square to round. CLASSROOM FACILITIES 

The classroom provides individual lathes, complete sets of turning tools, safety gear, and all necessary materials for each student. Located in a well-lit and spacious workshop on a thriving farm shop site, it offers a refreshing environment with opportunities for retail therapy during breaks from turning.

Lunch is provided onsite at the farm shops Wonderfull super cosy restaurant 

SAFETY INFORMATION

We provide safety visors and a soft dust mask but feel free to bring your own safety gear. Wear appropriate shoes; no open sandals, deck shoes, or flip-flops. Please inform us of any medical conditions for emergency preparedness.

CANCELATION POLICY

  • Deposit required on signup and balance paid on arrival

  • No refunds are given if you withdraw 6 weeks or less prior to course 

  • If you withdraw up to 2 months before a class, you may apply this amount to future class' within six months of your cancelled class date.

  • Exceptions will be handled on a case-by-case basis
