Whether you're completely new to woodturning or looking to take your skills to the next level, this exciting 5-day course is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the craft. We'll cover all the essential techniques from our popular 2-day beginners' course, including both spindle turning and faceplate work, but with much more time to explore each skill in depth. Along the way, we'll tackle common challenges, understand why things sometimes go wrong, and learn how to overcome them with confidence. The course focuses on traditional woodturning tools such as the bowl gouge, spindle gouge, and skew chisel, while also introducing you to texturing, colouring, and a selection of more advanced tools and techniques. Throughout the week, you'll create a variety of beautiful projects, including bowls, vases, plates, jewellery, and more, giving you plenty of opportunities to practise and develop your technique.
